Modifiers

Modifiers are processing components, used to modify text sources and message parts. Using Realtime Processing in rule's properties these components allow modification of messages sent through AEP in the Broker mode.

Modifiers are placed in the Modifiers folder in Components Palette.

There are the following modifiers in AEP

Component	Description
Attachments Modifier	Used to add or remove attachments in messages.
Block Modifier	Used for block modification of the text source.
HTML Modifier	Used for modification of a HTML source
Line Modifier	Used for line modification of the text source.
Message Parts Modifier	Used for modification of message parts.
Regular Expression Modifier	Used for modification of text sources using regular expressions.
Simple Modifier	Used for modification of text sources with using simple deletion and converting actions.
Text Modifier	Used for modification of a text source.

Remarks

Modifiers are powerful components allowing modification of messages on the fly but only if Realtime Processing is enabled for their rules. If not, all changes made by modifiers have no influence on messages received by mail client while working in the Broker mode.
